Hey, it’s Bryan from Oxide, back with another FAQ Friday. One of the questions we get is:
Where is the Oxide rack made?
The answer is a little bit complicated because, of course, there are many, many, many different components in the Oxide rack, and they have their origins all over the world.
But in another sense, there is another answer to that, because all those components come to Rochester, Minnesota, and Winona, Minnesota, at the sites of our contract manufacturer, Benchmark Electronics.
If you’ve followed the company closely, you know that we’ve had a terrific partnership with Benchmark over the years. And Benchmark is where we do, for example, the PCB assembly. Our PCBs are made by TTM in Malaysia, Toronto, and other facilities, but they come to Minnesota where we do that PCB assembly, where we do all of that testing, all of that high-quality manufacturing.
The rack is built, our switch is built, all of it comes together in Rochester and in Winona, and it’s crated up and shipped out to you.
So in one sense, it comes from all over. In another sense, we’re very much a Minnesota product. Go Gophers!
Thanks, and see you next time.
