We have been very upfront about our mission from the beginning. It is to kick butt, have fun, don’t cheat, love our customers, and change computing forever. And if you’ve been around the industry for a while, that might sound familiar.

It might sound familiar because it was the motto, the mission, at Sun Microsystems. I grew up at Sun. I spent 14 years at Sun Microsystems, and after Sun was acquired in 2010, I had some distance from it. As I was thinking about Oxide’s mission, as we were contemplating Oxide, you can’t think of a better way to distill it than to kick butt.

We wanna have a great product. We wanna have fun. We got a good sense of humor. We enjoy, obviously, doing what we do. We wanna not cheat, obviously. We wanna love our customers. Very, very important. We are a customer-centric company, and we wanna deliver a product that customers love. Very iconoclastic, I guess, in this day and age.

We wanna deliver a product that customers love, and we wanna change computing forever. That is Oxide’s mission. It’s the mission from when we first started the company, before we took our first nickel of funding. It’s our mission today. It’s gonna be our mission forever. Thanks, and see you next time.
