Here's what the full interview process looks like, start to finish. If you're interested in working at Oxide, we want to make sure you have all of the information you need to make a decision, same as us.
You start the process by filling out an application on the page of the job you're applying for. Make sure to upload your resume and materials.
The materials are reviewed thoroughly by a broad group of Oxide employees.
Est Time: 3-6 Weeks
If, based on your materials, we believe that there is a likely fit, we will work with you to schedule one-on-one conversations with people from across the company.
We get back to you with a decision.

Note: For many candidates, it's currently taking longer than the target of 3-6 weeks to review and respond to their application. We apologize for the delay, but we will get back to you as soon as possible. All candidates will receive a response.
Multiple employees at Oxide review every candidate and their materials. This takes time. We process applications in the order received, and so the length of time may vary. 3-6 weeks is pretty normal, but we'll try to give you a sense of how long it will take when you apply. This is generally the longest part of the process.
We don't have fixed 'hiring committees.' Any Oxide employee is eligible to participate in reviewing applications, and many do.
However long it takes you to accurately represent who you are and why you're interested in Oxide. The materials are the most important part of how we consider candidates, so give them enough time to do them well.
If, based on your materials, we believe that there is a likely fit, we will contact you to schedule conversations with the Oxide team.
If we advance your application to conversations with the team, we'll ask you for some times that work well for you for a series of one-on-one conversations with Oxide employees, who will sign up to speak with you. Once the conversations are scheduled, we add a uniquely Oxide twist: Just as Oxide employees have your materials, we will also give you their materials ahead of time – allowing you to learn as much about the team as we are learning about you! We have found that this generally leads to much better conversations.

In a word: many. But this shouldn't be taken as discouragement; we have several employees at Oxide who felt themselves long shots.
