Hey, it’s Bryan from Oxide back with another FAQ Friday. A question that we get, especially in this modern time, is:
Can I use an Oxide rack to satisfy the data residency requirements that I may have in my locale or country or what have you?
The answer is, absolutely. This is the rise of what my friend Roman Shaposhnik calls cloud nationalism.
We expect we’re gonna see a lot more of this, a lot more of localities deciding for reasonable reasons that data needs to remain in that locality. And for that you need a point of presence in that locality. And especially if you are primarily cloud born, an Oxide rack could be exactly what you’re looking for to satisfy that regulator, satisfy those data residency requirements, but still give you the modernity of cloud computing. For that, you want Oxide.
Thanks, and see you next time.
